Margie Williamson has served as the Executive Director of The Arc of South Carolina since April 2012. With more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector prior to joining The Arc, Margie brings both professional expertise and a deeply personal perspective to her leadership role.
As the parent of a child with autism, she understands firsthand the challenges faced by individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. This lived experience drives her passion for advocacy, inclusion, and the creation of meaningful opportunities for those The Arc supports.
Her commitment to the disability community began early in her college years, when she worked closely with children on the autism spectrum, providing caregiver relief and advocating for critical services. Since then, she has built a career dedicated to advancing the rights and opportunities of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Under her leadership, The Arc of South Carolina has strengthened its role as a voice for individuals with disabilities across the state. Margie has become a visible spokesperson on issues impacting the disability community, working alongside families, policymakers, and community partners to expand access to services, supports, and opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

She joined our team at The Arc of South Carolina in August of 2016, after receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Public Health from the University of South Carolina. She is dedicated to working with individuals with lifelong disabilities to help them reach their maximum potential.

Danni Bloom is the Director of Outreach & Policy for The Arc of South Carolina. In 2000, her two-year-old son was diagnosed with autism, making The Arc’s mission deeply personal. She holds a Bachelor’s in Social & Behavioral Sciences from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from The Citadel.

After receiving her Associate’s Degree, Clarissa continued her education earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science. She worked for 3 years as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor prior to finding her passion of working with those with disabilities.
Clarissa’s experience in working with those with disabilities was obtained in the State’s sector, where she supported and advocated for adolescents with disabilities. Eventually, Carolynn felt drawn back to her roots, leading her to return home with a renewed focus on assisting individuals with disabilities and special needs. Now part of The Arc of South Carolina team, she is committed to building meaningful relationships and positively impacting the lives of her clients.

Amy Mayne, Case Manager, has called Columbia, SC home for the past 24 years, where she lives with her husband, Tom. Married for 34 years, they’ve raised three beautiful daughters together. Originally from Upstate New York, Amy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology in 1989.
For over three decades, Amy and Tom have been passionate advocates within their community. Their family has grown to include their daughters, two wonderful sons-in-law, a lively three-year-old grandson, and another grandson on the way. Amy currently serves individuals and families in the Northeast Columbia and Winnsboro areas.

She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Columbia Southern University and has been providing support and resources to families for over 11 years.
Abby’s passion is helping parents of newly diagnosed children understand their child’s diagnosis and navigate the resources available to support them. She has personal experience as the mother of a teenage son, Jul, who has been diagnosed with Autism, Type 1 Diabetes, and ADHD. Abby is also a proud grandmother of two grandsons—one who lives in Indiana and another in Charlotte, North Carolina, who has been diagnosed with Autism. Abby’s service areas include Richland, Fairfield, Lancaster, and Kershaw Counties.

JacQuiva Fosmire, Case Manager, is originally from New York and is a graduate of Medgar Evers College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She has 11 years of experience working with therapeutic children and teenagers. JacQuiva relocated to Columbia, South Carolina, in 2022 and joined The Arc of South Carolina in August 2023. She enjoys working with individuals with special needs and their families and is passionate about providing support and advocacy.

She graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with a degree in Human Services, and it has equipped her with the knowledge and skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Before joining The Arc of South Carolina, Brooke worked as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist and served with the Department of Social Services (DSS). Ti’Juanna Collins, Case Manager, was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, and relocated to Sumter, South Carolina in October of 2017. Prior to leaving Arkansas, she worked as a Youth Care Worker with children who exhibited behavioral and mental health illnesses. She graduated from Francis Marion University in May of 2023 and earned her Masters of Education Degree in Learning Disabilities.
Before joining The Arc of South Carolina, she was a Special Education teacher for Sumter School District and worked with various students who were identified as having a disability. Working with those students helped strengthen her passion for individuals with disabilities, and she is excited to embark on this new journey to work with her clients and their families to find available resources that will assist with their future success. Kristen Sulzman, Case Manager, recently relocated to South Carolina from Vermont with her husband to be closer to family. In 2015, Kristen earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the age of 50, graduating the same weekend as her daughter, Cori—a moment of shared pride.
With a passion for working with diverse groups of people, Kristen has gained extensive experience in various fields, including nursing homes, a child psychiatric unit, traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, child protective services, and most recently, as a volunteer coordinator at an all-male correctional facility. She found something fun and rewarding in each role.
In her free time, Kristen loves exploring the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, crafting, and reading. Her love for solving mysteries and embracing new challenges makes her excited to join The Arc of South Carolina, where she looks forward to making a difference.
