Hi all! My name is Shay King-Dunson, and I grew up in upstate South Carolina. After completing my undergraduate studies at Columbia College in Accounting and English, I delved into the world of finance, serving as a banker and junior accountant. As time passed, I began to realize that my passion was no longer in finance, but instead in directly helping people. Having a younger brother with Autism, I have always been inclined to try my best to thoroughly understand individuals with disabilities and the many things that improve their overall quality of life. I am excited to be a part of The Arc of South Carolina, serving as an advocate as well as a friend to the individuals I serve as I take strides to ensure they have the things they need to thrive, progress, and be happy within their lives!
