Hosted by BIASC and the South Carolina Brain Injury Leadership Council (SCBILC), the Life With Brain Injury Annual Conference serves as a crucial platform for professionals, individuals with brain injuries, family members, caregivers, and others to come together to exchange information, resources, and best practices in brain injury rehabilitation and services. Come out to Wannamaker Park in North Charleston for a sizzling day of taste-testing, friendly competition, and all things BBQ.
Moms of children with autism are invited to a day of learning, relaxation, and connection at the Autism Connecting Conference on Saturday, November 15, 2025 in Greenville, SC.	Who Can Participate? Children between the ages of 7 and 11 with autism or typical development. What’s Involved? A one-time in-person behavioral assessment (in your home or at the lab, approximately 3 hours)	Each month the museum hosts a special morning designed for families of children, teenagers, young adults and adults who would benefit from a quieter, sensory-friendly and disability-adapted experience. Guests who are neurodiverse, autistic, or have other disabilities are welcome to participate in the activities such as open explorations of museum galleries, meet and greets, sensory shows, ASL interpreter services, sensory room, and more! They are now officially accepting Independent Living Skills (ILS) and Adult Companion waiver services in Horry, Georgetown, and Marion counties!	The Blue Envelope Project is a grassroots effort to improve safety and communication between law enforcement and Autistic drivers in South Carolina. It advocates for a statewide program that provides key information in a clearly marked envelope during traffic stops.	Educating parents, professionals, and people with disabilities about effective alternatives to guardianship.
