When you’re grocery shopping, consider picking up a few extra non-perishable items and dropping them off in the red Mission Lexington barrel at The Arc of South Carolina (254 Corley Mill Rd.). Who Can Participate? Children between the ages of 7 and 11 with autism or typical development. What’s Involved? A one-time in-person behavioral assessment (in your home or at the lab, approximately 3 hours)	Each month the museum hosts a special morning designed for families of children, teenagers, young adults and adults who would benefit from a quieter, sensory-friendly and disability-adapted experience. Guests who are neurodiverse, autistic, or have other disabilities are welcome to participate in the activities such as open explorations of museum galleries, meet and greets, sensory shows, ASL interpreter services, sensory room, and more! Click "Go to Link" to register.	The Blue Envelope Project is a grassroots effort to improve safety and communication between law enforcement and Autistic drivers in South Carolina. It advocates for a statewide program that provides key information in a clearly marked envelope during traffic stops.
