The Arc of South Carolina

The Arc of SC understands individuals with disabilities are a valuable resource for meeting workforce needs and strives to support initiatives that support this concept.  The Arc sponsors a Summer Employment program that involves training general education high school students to work as job coaches for students in EMD and TMD programs.  Both sets of students develop employment preferences and job skills in a collaborative working environment.  Many local businesses, including GoodWill, FireHouse Subs, K-Mart, and Publix and many more are involved.  Please contact our main office at 803-748-5020 for more information on this program.
